Voice Over
Intro:
I am a versatile American actor and voiceover artist based in London and can deliver a range of performance styles, from clear, articulate, and professional to genuinely off the cuff and conversational. I draw from my experience in theatre and film, voice and text coaching, music education, teaching English as a Foreign Language, radio communication, and customer service to deliver a range of styles from a genuine and grounded place.

I began training in voice over with Edge Studio in 2021, eventually working with my main coach there, the wonderful James Andrews, and during my first couple of years in London, I recorded my narration demo (on my Sennheiser MK4) and then my commercial demo (on my Sennheiser MKH416), both produced by James and recorded in my home studio. Huge thank you to James and to Edge Studio!

Have a listen to my demos, and if you have a project you would like a voice for, let me know!

Bio:

I am a versatile American voiceover artist and actor based in London, utilizing a background in theatre performance, music education, and EFL education to deliver exceptional performances from my broadcast-quality home studio.

I trained in voiceover with James Andrews at Edge Studio, specializing in narration and commercial voiceover. I am excellent at taking direction and can deliver a range of performance styles, from clear, articulate, and professional, to genuinely off-the-cuff and conversational. (See my demos for contrasting examples.)

I earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (voice) from Ithaca College School of Music's renowned music education program, then an M.A. in Ethnomusicology specializing in South Korea, gender, and immigrant communities, and then moved to Seoul, South Korea, where I spent a decade studying Korean traditional music and dance while working as an Assistant Professor of English and building a reputation for excellence in theatre performance, particularly in Shakespeare with Seoul Shakespeare Company. I moved to London in late 2022 to build my career as an actor and voiceover artist and I work part-time at two of London’s most prominent theatres.

I have started to venture out into the world of professional voice over from my accoustically-treated, broadcast-quality home studio in London.
I primarily use my Sennheiser MKH416 (industry standard shotgun mic, particularly used in commercials, which has a richer, punchier sound), but also now have a Neumann TLM103 (industry standard large diaphragm condenser mic for a gentler, highly detailed sound), as well my original large diaphragm condenser mic, the Sennheiser MK4.
