Later, they meet up with Misslee's crew of expat breakers, the Seoul Seekers, as well as 500 other dancers to attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest breakdance. Raul, a percussionist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, invites Erik and Tiffany to attend a rehearsal before their concert showcasing Russian composers. The next day, he gives them a tour of the orchestra rehearsal space in the Sejong Center and then follows up with a percussion lesson. There is a foreigner who spends most of her day studying gugak (traditional Korean music). Her name is Lauren Ash-Morgan, an artistic director and an assistant professor who has lived in Korea since 2010. She takes 4 gugak-related classes a week. They include gyobangchum, taepyeongmu, dosalpuri, and gayageum byeongchang, which are all traditional music genres that even Koreans find difficult. Her gugak teachers praise her for her ability to express han (deep resentment and sorrow), which is a sentiment unique to Korea. Despite her busy schedule as a Shakespeare performance artistic director, she has even created a fusion style performance that blends Western theatrical movements and costumes with Koran style. Lauren states that through all these activities, she has been able to make herself a better and healthier person.
